This document provides information about the Playdium Airflow Assembly Field-Replaceable Unit (TouchTunes p/n:
600208-001) and shows how to perform the replacement of the Airflow Assembly on a Playdium jukebox.

To be installed by experienced service personnel only, familiar with the product.

Lift the core, and carefully set it face down on a horizontal, flat surface (such as a table or a counter) covered by a soft cloth or similar, to avoid scratching or otherwise damaging the touch screen glass.

Replacing the Cable (Optional) Check the cable that connects the Airflow Assembly to the Backplane, and ensure it is not damaged. If the cable is damaged, you can replace it using the cable provided with your Airflow Assembly FRU kit.

Hook up the top-left tab first (A), then the top-right (B). 3. Hook up the back tabs, until the assembly snaps into place (C).
  • Page 7 Re-installing the Core Note: Playdium MUST be mounted vertically when docking the core. Do not attempt to dock the core while the chassis is not mounted vertically. Failure to do so could damage the core or the chassis. 1. Ensure that the red lever on the chassis is pulled down and vertical, ready to receive the core.
  • Page 8 1. Set the power rocker switch on the Playdium’s power strip to ON. 2. As Playdium powers up, check that the fans in the Airflow Assembly spin up and are pushing air out the top of the jukebox, using your hand to feel for the air flow. After a moment, the fans will slow down or turn off, adapting to the airflow needs of the jukebox’s internal components.
