Requirements
– You have read chapter "For your safety" on
page EN-4 and understand all the safety
notices.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter "Assembly" on page
EN-11.
Activated charcoal filter
• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.

chapter "Our Service Centre" on page
EN-19.

Fan
The fan has three settings:

• In order to set the desired fan setting,
press the appropriate button: (12), (13) or
(14). It will light up.
• To switch the fan off, press the (11) but-
ton.

Operation
Switching on lights
Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.
• To switch the lighting on or off, press
the (15) button .
Energy saving tips
– Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
– The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have lit-
tle or no odour.
– Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
– Clean grease filters (14) regularly.
