Operation

Requirements for safe
operation
• Read chapter „For your safety" from page
EN-4 and all the safety notices.
• Install the exhaust hood as described in
chapter „Assembly" on page EN-15.

Switching the appliance on/off

• To switch the appliance on, touch the sen-
sor
.
You will hear a tone, the sensors will light
up, and the appliance will start running at
fan setting

• To switch the appliance off, touch the sen-
sor
again.
You will hear a tone, the sensor light will
turn off, and the motor will stop running.

Changing the fan setting

The fan has three settings:
low,
medium and

• To change the fan setting, touch the sen-
sor for the desired fan level.
You will hear a tone, the sensor of the se-
lected fan setting will light up and the fan
setting is altered.

Switching off the fan

To turn off the fan, touch either the sensor
or the sensor of the fan setting which has just
been set.

Operation

Activating the auto-off feature

Your Exhaust hood is equipped with an au-
to-off feature, which will turn off the appliance
automatically after five minutes.
The auto-off feature can be activated only
when the appliance is in operation, i.e. when
a fan setting has been selected.
In order to
– activate the auto-off feature, touch the sensor
when the appliance is running.
You will hear a tone and the sensor will light
up.
– deactivate the auto-off feature, touch either
the sensor
or the sensor

Lighting

Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.
• To switch the lighting on or off, touch the
sensor
.
You will hear a tone; the lighting and the
sensors
and
will light up or turn off.

Activated charcoal filter

• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
