Requirements for safe
operation
– You have read chapter „For your safety" on
page GB-4 and understand all the safety
notices.
– The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter „Assembly" on page
GB-7.

Switching the fan on and off
The fan has three speeds.
• To set the desired level, move the knob
(13) to the left to position 1, 2 or 3. After
a short while, you will hear the fan start
up. The exhaust hood sucks in the kitch-
en vapours and puts them back into the
room after cleaning through the grease

• To switch the fan off, move the knob (13)

to the right to position 0.
Switching the light on and off
Your exhaust hood is equipped with a . light.
• To turn on the light, move the knob (14) to
the left to position 1.
• To turn off the light, move the knob to the
right to position 0.
Tips on saving energy
– Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
– Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
– The fan is not needed when cooking only
– Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
– Clean the grease filters (11) regularly (see
„Cleaning the grease filters" on page GB-12).
