MALFUNCTION
The LED on the controller
flashes red.

Water escaping or leakage outside
the heat exchanger.
Pressure increase in the storage
cylinder circuit (potable water en-
ters the storage cylinder circuit).
The safety valve in the storage
cylinder circuit opens.
The discharge capacity is too low
at the draw-off points.

Leakage from the heat exchanger due
to corrosion. This may be due to the
heat exchanger not being suitable for
the potable water quality.
The heat exchanger is severely calci-

REMEDY
Replace the sensor.
Replace the sensor.
Replace the sensor.
Replace the pump.
Replace the heat exchanger. The
brazing material used for the new
heat exchanger has to match the po-
table water quality (see information
sheet "Important advice regarding
corrosion protection" in appendix).
Decalcify the potable water side of
the heat exchanger.
Check the setting of the pressure
reducer. Increase the pressure if
necessary.
