Troubleshooting table

MALFUNCTION
The display is permanently off.
There are audible pump noises and
noises that arise due to airlocks.
The potable water is not heated.
Only cold water is available at the
draw-off points.
The hot water temperature drops
at the draw-off point(s).
The water at the draw-off point
cools down suddenly during circu-
lation operation.
The target temperature is no longer
reached if draw off quantities are
higher.

CAUSE
The controller is in standby mode.
The power supply to the controller is
interrupted.
The controller fuse is defective.
The system has not been bled.
The flow sensor is soiled or defective.
The controller is not in operation
(deactivated).
There is an airlock in the storage
cylinder circuit.
The circulation pump in the storage
cylinder circuit is defective (no pump
operation for drawing off hot water).
The heating water temperature in the
buffer storage cylinder is too low.
Insufficient storage cylinder capacity.
Cold water enters the circulation pipe
directly and not the heat exchanger.
The check valve for the circulation
pipe (accessory) is soiled or defec-
tive.
The storage cylinder temperature
is too low for the required draw off
quantity.
The heat exchanger is soiled.
The heat exchanger is calcified.
Troubleshooting
REMEDY
Press a button to activate the dis-
play.
Connect the power supply.
Replace the fuse (see section 8.5 on
page 35).
Bleed the system (see section 7.1 on
page 28 for the storage cylinder
circuit and section 7.2 on page 29
for the potable water circuit).
Clean the flow sensor or replace a
defective flow sensor (see ...
Check the controller power supply
and restore it if necessary.
Replace the fuse if necessary (see
section 8.5 on page 35).
Check the bleeders in the storage
cylinder circuit for correct position,
function and open position.
Replace the circulation pump in the
storage cylinder circuit.
- Increase the buffer storage cylin-
der temperature.
- Check the capacity of the heat
generator.
- Increase the storage cylinder
capacity.
- Check the system design.
Clean the check valve or replace it.
Increase the heating water tempera-
ture in the buffer storage cylinder.
Clean the storage cylinder circuit
side of the heat exchanger.
Decalcify the potable water side of
the heat exchanger.
