Remote Loopbacks

When a remote loopback is enabled the red Loop Bk LED on the front panel of
the CP unit lights up and remains lit until the loopback is disabled. The loopback
LED on the CO unit does not light.
Figure 7-3 illustrates remote loopback in a connection between two DSX-1-
compatible units.

Figure 7-4 illustrates remote loopback in a connection between a DSX-1-
compatible CO unit and a V.35-compatible CP unit. On the CP unit, DSR
becomes inactive and the DSR LED turns off.
