Local Loopbacks

When a local loopback is enabled the red Loop Bk LED on the front panel of the
CO unit lights up and remains lit until the loopback is disabled.
Figure 7-1 illustrates local loopback in a connection between two DSX-1-
compatible units.

Figure 7-2 illustrates local loopback in a connection between a DSX-1-compatible
CO unit and a V.35-compatible CP unit. On the CP unit, DSR becomes inactive
and the DSR LED turns off.
