Putting the filter housing into operation/operating the filter housing Putting the filter housing into operation/operating the filter housing Filter elements are not included with the Wombat Filter. Prior to commissioning, the filter elements must be inserted in the housing. Please refer to chapter "Changing the filter element"...
Putting the filter housing into operation/operating the filter housing Inserting the filter element Insert the filter element as follows: Close the shut-off valve on IN inlet and OUT outlet. Loosen the 4 nuts (1) from the filter lid approx. 15 mm. Fold the screws (2) down.

Performing maintenance Performing maintenance The WBF can be equipped with several clogging indicators, or optical or electrical signal transmitters. The clogging indicator shows how high the differential pressure over the filter element/the filter bag is. If the visual clogging indicator is red, the differential pressure is too high, indicating that the filter element is used up and must be changed.
Performing maintenance Changing the filter element WARNING Hydraulic system is under pressure Danger of bodily injury Depressurize the system before performing any ► work on it. Proceed as follows to replace the filter element: Close the shut-off valve on IN inlet and OUT outlet.
