The di- rection of flow through the filter element is freely selectable (from inside to outside or vice versa).

As a clogging indicator for the filter element, install a dynamic pressure gauge on the inlet side or a differential pressure indi- cator between inlet and outlet.

7 | Operation HYDAC FILTER SYSTEMS GMBH 7 Operation Monitor the filter housing for leaks during operation and the system pressure upstream of the filter housing. Replace the fil- ter element if the system pressure upstream of the filter hous- ing increases by a maximum of 2.5 bar.
