6. Disconnect plumbing from hot water outlet connection.
7. Remove four Phillips head screws retaining hot water outlet assembly and remove
assembly.
8. Reassemble in reverse order of above ensuring o'rings are clean, free from cracks and
lubricated with silicone grease if dry.
8. Start heater and check for water leaks.
9. Purge air from premises hot taps.
PRV / Drain Plug (Procedure 26)
1. Isolate water supply to heater by closing cold water inlet isolation valve located
below heater.
2. Relieve system pressure by opening and then closing a hot tap.
3. Unscrew PRV /Drain plug from hot water outlet assembly.
4. Reassemble in reverse order of above ensuring PRV / drain plug o'ring is clean, free
from cracks and lubricated with silicone grease if dry.
5. Start heater and check for water leaks.
Flue Collector / Flue Terminal Assembly (Procedure 27)
1. Remove flue collector / flue terminal assembly by performing steps 1 ~ 9 of heat
exchanger assembly procedure 22.
2. Reassemble in reverse order of above ensuring o'rings are clean, free from cracks and
lubricated with silicon grease if dry.
3. Start heater and check for water leaks.
4. Purge air from premises hot taps.
