Operating

1. The ON/OFF switch (A) is placed in front of the bench
drill assembly. Push the red button upwards in order
to open the yellow cover.
2. To switch on the radial drill press, insert the power
cord in a socket and press down the green ON button.
3. Fold down the cover but do not close it. By doing this
the radial drill press will switch off.
4. To switch off the drill press, just press on the red
emergency stop switch.
Attention: The radial drill press is equipped with a safety switch (63) inside the
pulley cover (D). If the pulley cover is opened or not closed correctly, the
radial drill press cannot be operated.
The radial drill press is designed for temporary operation (S2 15 Min.)
Explanation: The duty cycle defines the proportion between the resting time
and the operating time. The duty cycle will be calculated in an ambient tem-
perature of 40°C.
The radial drill press can be operated up to max. 15 minutes under full load.
Thereafter leave the radial drill press to cool down to room temperature in
order not to overheat the motor.
Do not overload the radial drill press in that way so that the motor will come to
a standstill.

Countersinking and Centre-drilling

Please observe that countersinking should only be performed at the lowest
speed, while a high speed is required for centre-drilling.
