Any blood pressure reading can be affected by the measurement site, the position of the patient, exercise, or the
patient's physiologic condition. Environmental or operational factors which can affect the performance of the device
and/or its blood pressure reading are pacemakers and common arrhythmias such as atrial or ventricular premature
beats or atrial fibrillation, arterial sclerosis, poor perfusion, diabetes, age, pregnancy, pre-clampsia, renal diseases,
patient motion, trembling, and shivering.
