Before the blender can be operated, material must be loaded into the TrueBlend SB-4 mate-
rial hoppers.

S t a r t i n g t h e B l e n d i n g P r o c e s s

Turn power on to the blender. The controller display will come on and the blender
Home screen will be displayed.

Press the 'Recipe' button. The TrueBlend SB-4 Recipe screen will appear.

Enter the recipe percentages for each ingredient.

Press the "Options" button and select the material type for each component.

Press the 'Automatic' button to start the blending process automatically with the
new set recipe values and Options.

NOTE: The recipe is validated before the blender begins processing it as the set recipe. If there is
a problem with the recipe, a [Recipe Alarms] button will be presented. Correct the errors
and press the [Commit] button again.

S t o p p i n g t h e B l e n d i n g P r o c e s s

Press the button 'Stop' to stop the metering and mixing process.

A window will be presented asking whether the current batch should be allowed to
finish before stopping, or should the blender stopped immediately without complet-
ing the batch.

Enter the appropriate stop mode or press 'Back' to not stop the blender.

S e c u r i t y S e t t i n g s

Security levels dictate what data is accessible by the user. On each screen page in the
upper left corner, a numeric box indicates the current level of security.
The security number level, color, and default passcodes are as follows:
0 – Green - Guest – minimum security level
1 – Yellow - Operator – Passcode 3333
2 – Orange - Setup – Passcode 2222
3 – Red - Service – maximum security level - Passcode 1111
The passcodes for each level can be changed in the 'Setup' – 'Panel' – 'Security' screen.
