Operational faults and the elimination of such

Operational faults
Machine cannot be switched
on
Main spindle motor no longer
starts after the unlocking of
the emergency off switch
Axis slide can only be moved
with considerable force
Rust on workpieces of machi-
ne parts when using coolant
lubrication
Tool holder cannot be inser-
ted into the main spindle
Tool overheated
Doors of the machine safety
cabin cannot be opened
Possible cause
230V voltage is not present
Emergency off switch not
unlocked
Motor controller must be un-
locked
Clamping lever of the axis is
tightened
Guide play is set too nar-
rowly
Wrong coolant set
Incorrect tool ball in the tool
holder
Inner cone of the main spind-
le or outer cone of the tool
holder is contaminated
Revolutions too high
Feed too high
Working without coolant
Machine is not switched off
and/or switch for operating
modes in zero position
Main spindle is running
Remedy
Plug is not fitted correctly
Check the fuse for the socket
Unlock the emergency off switch
Wait approx. 5 seconds after
unlocking the emergency ON/OFF
switch before reactivating machine
with ON/OFF switch.
In addition, the manual operating
field of the software has to be
closed and the machine must be
reloaded.
Open the clamping lever
Adapt the guide play
Check the ratio of coolant and cor-
rect if necessary
(Do not use pure water to cool!)
Only use the appropriate tool hol-
ders for the machine
Clean the relevant cone
Reduce the revolutions
Reduce the feed
Use coolant
Machine switched of, switch for ope-
rating modes on CNC operation of
set-up mode
