Maintenance of pressure intensifier
Following a certain operation period of the tool changer, it is possible that the tensioning mechanism (D)
looses performance. This requires the maintenance of the tensioning mechanism. Maintenance is done
in just a few steps:
■
Unscrew the four screws (7) of the cover (5)
■
Place the screws (7) as well as the washers (6) aside
■
Carefully remove the cover (5)
■
Twist the locking screw (1) out of the tensioning mechanism
■
Ensure that the upper piston (4) is in the upper final position
■
Ensure that the lower piston (3) is in the upper final position
■
With a fat press, fill fat into the grease nipple (2) until the fat penetrates from the opening of the
locking screw of the tensioning mechanism
■
Re-screw the locking screw back into the opening of the tensioning mechanism
■
Reapply the cover (5)
■
Screw the cover tight with screws (7) and washers (6)
