Virtualization Technology (Available when supported by the CPU)
Select Enable to support Intel Virtualization Technology, which will allow one
platform to run multiple operating systems and applications in independent parti-
tions, creating multiple "virtual" systems in one physical computer. The options
are Enable and Disable.
Note: If there is a change to this setting, you will need to power off and
restart the system for the change to take effect. Please refer to Intel's
website for detailed information.)

Power Technology
Select Energy Effi cient to support power-saving mode. Select Custom to custom-
ize system power settings. Select Disable to disable power-saving settings. The
options are Disable, Energy Effi cient, and Custom.
*If the option is set to Custom or Energy Effi cient, the following items will display:
Energy Performance Tuning (Available when Power Technology is set to
Custom or Energy Effi cient)
Select Enable for energy-performance tuning support to enhance energy ef-
fi ciency, which might compromise system performance. The options are Enable
and Disable.
Energy Performance Bias Setting (Available when Power Technology is
set to Custom or Energy Effi cient)
Use this feature to select an appropriate fan setting to achieve maximum system
performance (with maximum cooling) or maximum energy effi ciency with maxi-
mum power saving). The fan speeds are controlled by the fi rmware management
via IPMI 2.0. The options are Performance, Balanced Performance, Balanced
Power, and Power.
Energy Effi ciency Turbo (Available when Power Technology is set to
Custom or Energy Effi cient)
Select Enable for the system to operate at turbo mode with reduced power con-
sumption so that your machine can achieve maximum system performance with
the maximum power effi ciency possible. The options are Enable and Disable.
