1.
Switching on – electric
“Before switching on the machine, ensure the following:
!
The mains switch is on.
The water mains tap is open”.
Turn the master switch (12) to position 1. The indicator light “machine
on” (45) switches on.
At the same time, the current working pressure “boiler pressure 0.00
bar” is displayed (25).
If the water level in the boiler is less than the minimum required, the
indicator light “boiler level” (21) lights up and the boiler is filled up to the
correct level (indicator light 21 switches off).
Turn the master switch (12) to position 2.
The heating element inserted indicator light (44) lights up.
The boiler is heating. Wait until the pressure reading on the display
corresponds to the required working pressure value, i.e. the indicator
light (44) switches off.

Switching on – gas (only for G machines)
!
“Do not switch on the gas when the boiler is under
pressure”.
Before switching on the machine. check the following:
- The mains switch is on.
- The water mains tap is open.
- The gas cut-off cock is open
Turn the mains switch (12) to position 1, the indicator light “machine on”
(45) lights up.
At the same time, the current working pressure “boiler pressure 0.00
bar” is displayed (25).
If the water level in the boiler is less than the minimum required, the
indicator light “boiler level” (21) lights up and the boiler is filled up to the
correct level (indicator light 21 switches off).
Press and turn the gas knob (14) anticlockwise and at the same time
press the button (15) repeatedly and until the burner under the boiler
lights up.
Ensure that the burner is lit by checking through the window (48) and
release the knob (14) after a few seconds.
The boiler is functioning. Wait until the reading on the display corresponds
to the required pressure value.
3.
Switching-on – dual (gas and electric)
The boiler may be heated by both gas and electricity simultaneously.
In this way the working pressure is reached more rapidly since the water
in the boiler is heated simultaneously by the electrical heating elements

inside the boiler and by the flame from the burner under the boiler.
To switch on, follow the procedures in Paragraph 1. SWITCHING ON –
ELECTRIC and 2. SWITCHING ON – GAS.
