The HMI sl software only supports "milling" technology.
9.2 Modifying the user interface of the tool management
Requirement
The settings for the tool management user interface are specified in the "sltmlistconfig.xml"
file .
The settings for the "TRANSLINE 2000" PLC tool management user interface are made in
the "sltmplclistconfig.xml" file.
To change the user interface, you must save the entries to a dedicated file. First, you must
create an empty file in the oem/user folder and enter the modified configuration settings.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Open the following folder: /Siemens/sinumerik/hmi/appl
2. Copy the "oem_ sltmlistconfig.xml" file.
3. Paste the copy of the file into the following directory: /OEM/sinumerik/hmi/cfg or
/User/sinumerik/hmi/cfg
4. Change the file name to "sltmlistconfig.xml", or, in the case of PLC tool management
"TRANSLINE 2000", to "sltmplclistconfig.xml".
5. Open the file. The following empty file will appear:
