Hardware connection

To run the CEC demonstration, you have to connect the HDMI connector of the Value line
evaluation board (STM32F100B-EVAL or STM32F100E-EVAL) to another HDMI device (TV,
recording device, etc.) using the HDMI cable (see

Figure 14. Example of a hardware connection

Note:
You can connect the Value line evaluation board to other Value line evaluation boards using
HDMI cables, or a simple wire between all CEC device lines (PB8). If you choose the
second solution, do not forget to connect the grounds of all the boards together.
