If you need to remove a CFP transceiver, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the network fiber-optic cable from the CFP transceiver connectors. Immediately reinstall the
dust plugs in the CFP transceiver optical bores.
2. Loosen the two captive installation screws that secure the CFP to the networking module.
3. Slide the CFP transceiver out of the module socket (see the figure below). Immediately place the CFP
transceiver in antistatic protective packaging.
