Cleaning


All surfaces of the unit allow for cleaning with a damp cloth and if required a mild soap
lotion.
Attention:
Damage to the surfaces
All surfaces can be damaged by improper cleaning.
Never use:
▪ Chlorine bleach or any cleaning agent including chlorine
▪ Ammonia
▪ Abrasive cleaning agents such as cleaning rags, scrubbing agents
or any other agents which include metal components
To ensure a stable position clean surface and feet with a damp cloth
and ethanol regularly.

Maintenance


The unit is maintenance-free. Any necessary repair must be performed by an authorized
Heidolph distributor.

Tubes
Tubes are wear parts. Service life of tubes depends on material, rotational speed and
properties of the substance to be fed, e.g. temperature, viscosity, chemical composition,
and pressure.
Service life of tubes used in pumps varies between approx. 50 and 500 hours in use.
➜ Check tubes regularly.
➜ Replace tubes in the event of visible wear.
Multi-channel pump head
➜ Check plastic sleeve over metal bar regularly.
➜ Replace plastic sleeve in the event of visible wear or latest after approx. 500 hours in
use.
