My BT Vision V-box™ is displaying an error code
– What should I do?
• Check that your BT Home Hub is plugged in and
switched on and that the Broadband Light is solid
green and the Internet Light is solid green or flashing.
• Check that all the Yellow Ethernet Leads are
correctly inserted into their sockets. They should
click firmly into place.
• Check you have internet access, if not, refer to
your BT Home Hub Guide - available online at
www.homehub.bt.com/html/getting-started.html.
If an error code is displayed, you can either check
our online guide at www.btvision.com/help for
further advice, or simply call us on 0845 600 7030.
Why can't I see anything on my TV?
• Check your BT Vision V-box™ and TV are switched on.
• Check that your TV has selected the correct input,
such as AV1 or AV2. If you're unsure, select the
AV button on your TV Remote Control, until a
BT Vision screen display is presented.
• If you're connecting via SCART through another
device, like a VCR or DVD recorder, check that
these devices are in Standby mode or switched on.
• Check that your SCART connections are securely
plugged in.

Why are some or all of my digital TV channels
missing?
• Check that your Aerial Lead is correctly inserted
into both your wall Aerial Socket, and your
BT Vision V-box™.
• Your BT Vision V-box™ should be the first thing
your Aerial is plugged into.
• If you have multiple TVs connected around
the house, disconnect them. If this solves the
problem you'll need to get a TV distribution
amplifier before connecting them again.
• If you're having problems getting digital TV
you may need an Aerial Upgrade.
How do I connect my BT Vision V-box
• The BT Vision V-box
output, which can be connected to a suitably equipped
TV. Customers will need to supply their own HDMI lead.
• The BT Vision V-box™ supports the following High
Definition options: 720p and 1080i. The settings
for this can be found on the service by following
the instructions on p.39 of your User Guide, which
forms part of your BT Vision Welcome Pack.
• When a connection is made to the BT Vision V-box™
via HDMI, the other analogue audio/video outputs
(SCART, S-Video, RF channel) are disabled.
