In addition to the above power requirements, you must also:
Locate each unit within 6 feet (2 meters) of its power receptacle.

Keep the communication cables separate from the power cables.

Install communication and power cables in accordance with National Electrical

Codes (NEC).
Use only shielded cables and equipment in conjunction with the system to
maintain safe levels of electromagnetic compatibility.
Shipment Contents
The customer should have received boxes containing the computer, keyboard, and
monitor (if ordered).
Be sure that you have the following items packed in the box or boxes:
The Intuity LX chassis. Turn out the stablizing feet on the bottom of the

computer case.
One 6-foot to 8 -foot (2-meter to 3-meter) power cord (depending on country in
l
which you are doing the installation)
The Intuity LX keyboard with on-board mouse and split connector cord
l
One 4-pin RJ11 cable for each voice port purchased
l
One LAN cable
l
One monitor and power cord, if ordered
l
One Maintenance Modem, and required cables
