ETTING You set up a PC and a Web browser to configure the Megabit Modem 500L. This chapter provides the set up procedures, then shows you how to access and navigate the Megabit Modem 500L Web pages. The configuration process flow is shown below.
ETTING P THE You configure the Megabit Modem 500L using a PC connected to the 10/100BASE-T port. The PC must be set to obtain an IP address automatically from the modem. The modem, as a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, provides an IP address to this PC dynamically.
