There are many “aggressive” cleaners on the market, including some supposed to be specifically for use on shield. Arai strongly recommends that you do not use any such products to clean your shield as some of their ingredients may have damaging effects on the shield and other plastic parts installed on your helmet. -

English To replace the shield, holding the shield in approximately its fully open position, slip the shield into the front opening of the holder. Push the shield further into the holder until it falls in place and is fully locked. Repeat for the other side. -

English TO REMOVE/REPLACE BASE PLATES To remove base plates, remove shield and holders, remove the two screws from each plate with a flat blade screwdriver or a coin. Remove plates from helmet shell. To replace the base plates, with the parts off the helmet, align the shield on the base plates as if the shield was in the fully open position, then rotate the shield downward in relationship to the base plates to the equivalent of the fully closed position ensuring that the white spring clip... -

Then draw the covering through the opening by grasping the rectangular collar and pulling. RX-7GP / CORSAIR-V / QUANTUM / RX-Q / SIGNET-Q / CHASER-V / VECTOR-2 cheekpad is equipped with a 5mm surface foam layer. The layer is removable to offer a bit more room if desired. - Page 10 Then push the rectangular collar through the pad assembly and adjust into final position. Place the orange EMERGENCY TAB so that it lies between the cheekpad and neckroll in order for rescuers to get access to the TAB when the neckroll tab is removed.

Non utilizzare mai benzina, solventi, benzene o altri prodotti chimici. In commercio si trovano molti detergenti “aggressivi”, alcuni dei quali specifici per visiere. Arai raccomanda fortemente di non utilizzare nessuno di questi prodotti per pulire la visiera poiché alcune sostanze in essi contenuti potrebbero danneggiare la visiera e altre parti in plastica del casco. -

Nederlands DE BASISPLATEN VERWIJDEREN/VERVANGEN Ga als volgt te werk om de basisplaten te verwijderen: Verwijder het vizier en de houders. Verwijder met een schroevendraaier of een munt de twee schroeven uit de plaat. Verwijder de platen van de buitenschaal van de helm. -

Trek vervolgens de voering met de rechthoekige kraag door de kinband opening. De wangstukken van de RX-7GP / CORSAIR-V / QUANTUM / RX-Q / SIGNET-Q / CHASER-V / VECTOR-2 zijn voorzien van een 5mm dikke schuimrubber laag. - Page 36 Trek vervolgens de rechthoekige kraag door de opening en leg de voering op zijn plaats. RX-7GP / CORSAIR-V / QUANTUM-ST / RX-Q / SIGNET-Q OPMERKING: Laat de oranje noodgevallen lus (EMERGENCY TAB) buiten de stoffen voering steken zodat iemand er ook bij kan als het wangstuk in de helm zit.
