Adjustment may take some time, so do

not move the camera until a message
indicates that adjustment is complete.

Check the brightness.
Press the shutter button all the way down

to capture a single image.
Switch to playback and check image
z
brightness.
To adjust brightness, on the shooting
z
screen, turn the exposure compensation
dial to change the exposure level, and
then shoot again.

Start recording.
Movie shooting button → press the
z
shutter button all the way down
Do not disturb the camera while
z
recording.
No image is shown on the camera during
z
recording.
To cancel recording, press the shutter
z
button or the movie shooting button
again. Note that cancellation may take up
to about 30 seconds.
