Using a USB Power Adapter to Charge/Power
the Camera
With USB Power Adapter PD-E1 (sold separately), you can use the camera
while charging the battery without removing it.

Make sure the camera is off.

Connect the USB power adapter.
Insert the adapter plug as shown.

Connect the power cord.
Connect the power cord to the USB
z
power adapter and plug the other end
into a power outlet.
The charging lamp (1) turns orange, and
z
charging begins.
Turn the camera on to use it while
z
charging the battery (except when
shooting or standing by to shoot).
The lamp turns off when charging
z
finishes.
