If you insert the battery pack facing the wrong way, it cannot be locked into

the correct position. Always confirm that the battery pack is facing the right
way and locks when inserted.
Before using a new memory card or a card formatted in another device,

you should format the card with this camera.
Recording is not possible on memory cards with a write-protect switch

when the switch is in the locked position. Slide the switch to unlock it.
If [Change the battery pack] is displayed, change the battery pack after the

camera turns off automatically.
