The SMC (Statistical Measurement Control) function acquires the average using values that minimize variations in
the measured data.
Memo
SMC is set to "OFF" when the instrument is shipped from the factory.
Operating Procedure

Use [▲] or [▼] to move the cursor to "SMC", and
then press the [Confirmation] key.

Use [▲] or [▼] to move the cursor to the item to set,
and then press the [Confirmation] key.
Settings
{ OFF
{ ON
Notes
Setting the SMC function to ON will disable manual
averaging.

Press the [Confirmation] key.
The selection is confirmed and the screen returns to the
<Measurement setup> screen.
Notes
If [ESC] is pressed without pressing the [Confirmation]
key, the settings will not be changed and the screen will
return to the <Measurement setup> screen.
