Poe Power Supply Management - Avaya 8300 Configuration

PPM supports the following functions:
• PoE power configuration
• PoE power management
• PoE power usage statistics and status collecting and monitoring
• user interface for administration operation
The following figure shows how PPM works with PSE (8348TX-PWR or 8348GTX-PWR)
modules.

PoE power supply management

Ethernet Routing Switch 8300 PoE power allocation is based on the number of installed
Ethernet Routing Switch 8301 or 8302AC power supplies. For example, each Ethernet Routing
Switch 8301AC power supply provides 800 watts PoE power at 220 VAC, or 400 watts PoE
