Installation and configuration of a photovoltaic self consumption system with batteries
2. Operation Mode
For operation in the photovoltaic self consumption installations with storage managed with the
INGECON SUN EMS Board, it is necessary to configure the inverter operation mode in the
"Limited EMS Manager" mode.
Enter via the Display:
Menu > Advanced Configuration > Self consumption > Mode > Limited EMS Manager
In the event of a power cut, the IS 1Play photovoltaic inverter will keep
disconnected to the grid and it doesn't supply energy.
When the grid is available, the IS 1Play will connect automatically.
3. Communications card
For more information about the wiring and Wi-Fi/Ethernet standard, see the
Accessories for Local and Remote communication manual, available on the
Ingeteam website.
This section describes the procedure for configuring the Wi-Fi or Ethernet communication of the
additional photovoltaic inverter.
Wi-Fi Communication
1. Search for the Wi-Fi network generated by the communications card from your PC and
connect to it. No password is required.
2. Open the Web browser and enter the IP address: 192.168.10.3
3. After entering the Web server, go to the Wi-Fi section of the left panel.
4. Select the option Change in the upper section to display the available networks.
5. Select the Wi-Fi network required and enter the password for that network if necessary.
6. The Web browser will display the information about the new connection established.
Ethernet-TCP communication
The Ethernet-TCP cards are configured by default to obtain the IP address dynamically (DHCP).
Therefore, after connecting the Ethernet cable to the router, the communications card will
automatically obtain an IP address.
Ingeteam recommends configuring the Ethernet-TCP card with a fixed IP
address. This way its operation does not depend on a DHCP server.
For more information about the ·change of IP address", please see the
Accessories for Local and Remote communication manual, available on the
Ingeteam website.
4. Searching through EMS Tools
Once the Wi-Fi or Ethernet communication has been established, it is necessary to find the IP
address which the communications card has obtained. To do this, take the following steps:
1. In the main window of the EMS Tools click on Wizard .
2. Select the corresponding local network interface.
