Therefore, after connecting the Ethernet cable to the router, the EMS Board will automatically
obtain an IP address.
Ingeteam recommends configuring the EMS Board with a fixed IP address. This
way its operation does not depend on a DHCP server.

3.5.3 External Wattmeter

By default, the wattmeter has already been configured with Modbus node number 01 and
"single phase" AC type of grid.
No extra configuration is required for the wattmeter.

3.6 System device firmware update

The firmware of all the Ingeteam devices in the system (energy manager, EMS, communication
cards, inverters, etc.) should be updated to the latest available version on the Web:
www.ingeteam.com.
3.7 Configuration of the installation via the INGECON SUN EMS Tools
software
This section describes the steps required to configure the installation from the PC INGECON
SUN EMS Tools application.
