5. Back-up Function
An additional Back-up function can be activated in this type of installation. With this function, in
the event of a power cut, only the ISS 1Play inverter disconnects the grid and feeds energy
required for critical loads from the batteries, operating in a similar manner to a UPS. The IS
1Play photovoltaic inverter is disconnected to the grid and it doesn't supply energy. The non-
critical loads are not fed.
For photovoltaic self consumption installations with storage managed by the
INGECON SUN EMS Board in accordance with RD900/2015, this Back-up
function must be disabled.
To activate or deactivate the Backu-up function via Display:
Menu > Configuration > Operation Mode > Back-up Function > Enable / Disable
Confirm by clicking on "OK" and save the changes.

Minimum SOC for discharging the batteries (%). A value of 60% is
recommended for lead-acid batteries. Please refer to battery manufacturer
for Lithium batteries.
Minimum SOC for discharging batteries to the loads when the public grid
is not available (back-up function activated) (%). A value of 50% is
recommended for lead-acid batteries. Please refer to battery manufacturer
for Lithium-ion batteries.
Reboot SOC of supply to the loads using photovoltaic energy (no grid
available) (%). The same value as for SOC MIN is recommended.
This value is informative. Not used for "Grid Support". A value of 0 W is
recommended.
