Clean the housing with a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use spirits,
thinners etc.; you could damage the surface of the device.
Only clean the display with a soft cotton cloth. If necessary, use a cotton cloth
with a small amount of non-alkaline, thinned soap solution, based on water or
alcohol.
Rub the cotton cloth gently over the surface.

Eliminating malfunctions

If the device is not functioning as intended, run a check using the following table.
Symptom
Device cannot be switched on.
There is no sound.
The display cannot be switched on.
Poor reception via DAB+/FM.
Device cannot be operated.
If the malfunction cannot be eliminated even after carrying the checks described,
please contact the Technical Hotline.
Possible cause/remedy
The device is not receiving power. Connect the
mains adapter properly to the socket and the
device. Charge the battery.
Increase the volume.
Disconnect the device from the mains/remove the
battery and resupply the device with power.
Extend the aerial fully. Change the position of the
aerial or of the DIGITRADIO 1.
Disconnect the device from the mains/remove the
battery and resupply the device with power.
