B-14. Crystal Display
(Time required: About 9 minutes)
B-14-1. Remove the control panel U5 assembly.
(See procedure 1)
B-14-2. Remove the PN8 added button. (See procedure B-12)
B-14-3. Remove the crystal display. (Fig. 11)
B-14-4. The crystal display and color bar lens can then be
separated. (Photo 23)
B-15. Front Pad Assembly U5
(Time required: About 19 minutes)
B-15-1. Remove the control panel U5 assembly.
(See procedure 1)
B-15-2. Remove the FD8CN circuit board.
(See procedure B-11)
B-15-3. Remove all the FD8 circuit boards.
(See procedure B-12)
B-15-4. Remove the eleven (11) screws marked [45] and
the nine (9) screws marked [40A]. The front pad
assembly U5 can then be removed. (Fig. 12)
* When installing the Front pad assembly to the control
panel, while pressing the Front pad assembly against
the control panel, tighten screws so as to reduce
clearance between the control panel and Front pad
assembly.

B-15-4. [45] のネジ 11 本と [40A] のネジ 9 本外して、 F パッ
ド Ass y U5 を外します。 （図 12）
※ F パッド Ass y をコンパネに取り付ける際は、F パッド
Ass y をコンパネに押しつけながら、コンパネと F パッ
ド Ass y のクリアランスを少なくなるようにネジを締め
てください。
