Make sure the filters (pre-filters/ultrafilters) are ❯ serviced or replaced as required. The internal filters need to be clean if the Hygowater sys- tem is to work effectively. Hard water reduces the efficiency of the disinfection process or brings it to a standstill. The filters may become blocked and cause damage to the electrolysis chamber.
Important information Do not use the Hygowater system with liquids ❯ WARNING other than water or without filters. The unit is designed to be used to disinfect processed Risk of explosion due to ignition of water in the dental treatment unit, with the combustible materials quality equivalent to that of drinking water.

Setting up the unit If the Hygowater is located on a lower floor than the dental treatment unit it is supplying water to, NOTICE then considerable pressure losses will need to be If the unit is connected to a water expected.
When connecting to the public water supply, care must be taken to ensure that the correct check valve is installed to prevent backflow. The Hygowater has a type AB air gap. The Hygowa- ter Compact contains an adjustable valve with a check valve of type EA.

The Hygowater can prepare and supply water for two dental treatment units under the following condi- tions: – The distance between the Hygowater and each of the treatment units must not exceed a maximum of 10 m. The water volume in the water pipes downstream of the Hygowater can be minimised by using hoses with a diameter of 8 mm or less.
Page 25
Assembly Hygowater Hygowater Booster Hygowater and Hygowater Compact must not be connected to standard water taps, toilets or showers. The smaller the hose diameter for connection of the central water system to the dental treatment unit is, the better the resulting water quality will be.
