on the patient's cast. Using
a contrasting color, mark
the implant location. Drill
parallel holes in the cast,
the same diameter as the
FRIADENT® Select Sleeves
(Dentpsly Sirona Tulsa Dental
Specialties), at the implant
locations. Place FRIADENT
Select Sleeves in the holes
and secure them with
cyanoacrylate (fast-acting
glue).
2. Place a self-adhesive
temperature indicator on
model. Paint model with
Al-Cote® Separating Agent
and allow to dry. Warm
model until the temperature
indicator turns black.
3. Remove Eclipse® Clear
Baseplate material from light
safe package. Adapt Eclipse
to the edentulous areas of
cast.
4. Paint Eclipse Resin with
Eclipse® Air Barrier Coating.
5. Cure on Menu 1 Full Baseplate
Cure in the Eclipse® EPU
and Flipper/Base under the
Eclipse family in the Enterra®
VLC Unit. Upon completion of
curing cycle allow appliance
to cool to room temperature.
Soak the appliance in tap
water for approximately 10
–15 minutes to re-hydrate the
cast and facilitate removal
from the model.
Tip for Enterra users: If device
is sticky it may be flip cured
on BP Tissue Side for 6 mins
in the Enterra VLC Unit.
6. After curing remove the
FRIADENT Select Sleeves
and rinse the stent with
warm water and soft brush to
remove all traces of Eclipse
Air Barrier Coating. Check to
insure that all holes are free
of any interference. Finish
and polish.

Appliance
1.
Mark the ridge of the cast
where the 5 mm steel balls
are to be placed using a
pencil or marker. Place a
self-adhesive temperature
indicator on model. Paint
model with Al-Cote®
Separating Agent and allow
to dry. Warm model until the
temperature indicator turns
black.
2. Using the marks on the cast
as a reference, embed the
steel balls in the ridge area of
the Eclipse material.
The first molar, first bicuspid,
and lateral areas are ideal
reference points for the
balls.
Secure the steel balls with
additional Eclipse material.
3. Paint appliance with Eclipse®
Air Barrier Coating. Cure on
Menu 1 Full Baseplate Cure in
the Eclipse® EPU and Flipper/
Base under the Eclipse family
in the Enterra® VLC Unit.
Soak the appliance in tap
water for approximately 10
–15 minutes to re-hydrate the
cast and facilitate removal
from the model.
Rinse the stent with warm
water and soft brush to
remove all traces of Eclipse
Air Barrier Coating. Finish
and polish.
