2. Remove the denture/model
from the mounting. Remove
denture from the model,
apply Al-Cote Separator
to the model and heat the
model in the Dentpsly Sirona
Conditioning Oven set at
131°F (55°C). Temperature
Indicators (provided) placed
on models will turn black
when model is at the proper
temperature.
3. Prepare the denture by
grinding a beveled surface.
Do not leave feathered
edges.
4. Thoroughly clean surface as
described below:
• W ash prepared area with
a brush and tap water
and blow dry with clean
compressed air.
• U se a brush to clean
the prepared surface
with isopropyl or ethyl/
denatured alcohol and
allow to dry.
• M ake sure no dust remains
on the surface.
5. Place on model and seat
properly.
6. Locally warm the prepared
area with the Dentpsly Sirona
Hot Air Gun.

Coat the prepared area with
Eclipse Baseplate Resin by
using the Dentpsly Sirona
Wax Pencil Pro.
8. Place a small amount of
Eclipse Baseplate Resin into
the repair site.
9. Heat with the Dentpsly Sirona
Hot Air Gun until Eclipse
Baseplate Resin begins to
slump. Do not overheat (i.e.
melt resin).
10. Fill the remaining repair
area with Baseplate Resin
and warm with the Dentpsly
Sirona Hot Air Gun.
11. Apply Eclipse Air Barrier
Coating on repair area.
12. Apply Eclipse Model Release
Agent to the denture flange
areas, but do not allow
Eclipse Model Release Agent
to come in contact with the
land area of the model.
13. Seal the denture to the model
by using Eclipse Gel on the
borders. Leave a small gap in
the Eclipse Gel at the frenum
notches, so that the border is
not 100% sealed.
14. Place the baseplate on
the Eclipse Processing
Unit turntable. Center the
baseplate, not the repair area,
on the turntable and process
on the model in the Eclipse
Processing Unit. (Menu #4/
Tooth/ID/Reline SD1)
15. Allow the repaired denture
to cool before removing from
model.
16. Remove denture from model.
If necessary, soak model and
denture in tap water for five
minutes to facilitate removal.
17. Apply Eclipse Air Barrier
Coating to the repair area on
the tissue side.
18. Place the repaired denture
tissue side up on the Eclipse
Processing Unit turntable and
cure. (Menu #6)
19. Remove denture from the
Eclipse Processing Unit and
immediately place back on
model and allow to cool to
ambient temperature.
20. After cooling, remove cured
Eclipse Gel material and wash
off Eclipse Air Barrier Coating
with water and a brush.
21. Finish and polish in the usual
manner.
D. Tooth / Surface Repair
1.
Pour a model into the denture
to support the denture during
curing.
2. Roughen and prepare surface
of denture.
3. Prepare tooth using Eclipse
Bonding Agent as described
