Check the correctness of delivery by comparing your order data to the drive information found on the
package label. If the delivery does not correspond to your order, contact the supplier immediately.

Type designation code

The Siemens type designation code is formed of 15 characters and an one optional character for factory
installed options. Each segment of the type designation code uniquely corresponds to the product and
options you have ordered. The code is of the following format:

Unpacking and lifting the drive

The weights of the drives vary greatly according to the size. You may need to use a piece of special lifting
equipment to move the converter from its package. Note the weights of each individual frame size in Ta-
ble 3 below.
If you decide to use a piece of lifting equipment see picture below for recommendations to lift the drive.
