WARNING! The child car seat can be fastened
and unfastened with the baby inside; these
procedures could be more difficult due to
the weight of the baby. Be very careful when
performing the steps described above.

4.4 CANOPY

The child car seat features a protective can-
opy in a number of positions.
To fit it, insert the ends of the canopy in the
relevant fastening devices (Fig. 26) and then
fit the elastic strap through the relevant
hooks (Fig. 27). Fasten the buttons on the
back of the canopy to complete fitting (Fig.
28). To remove the hood, press button X (Fig.
26) and pull the ends up.

4.5 CLEANING AND STORAGE

CLEANING THE FABRIC LINING
The child seat's fabric lining can be removed
and washed by hand or in a washing ma-
chine at 30°C.
To wash it, unfasten the straps, remove the shoul-
der straps by opening the snap-buttons located
inside the compartment for storing the instruc-
tion manual (Fig. 29) and pull off from the straps
(Fig. 30). Then remove the straps from the slots
and the lining from the headrest (Fig. 31). Remove
the fabric lining from the seat starting from the
feet position (Fig. 32), then from the area near
the strap guides (Fig. 33) and finally removing it
completely (Fig. 34).
Follow the steps above in reverse order to
fit the lining again.
WARNING! Fit the straps again correctly and
avoid twisting.
Please refer to the cleaning instructions
on the fabric label, which illustrates the
following washing symbols:
Machine washable at 30°C.
30° C
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
Never use abrasive detergents or solvents. Do
not dry the fabric cover within a dryer, let it dry
without squeezing it.
HOW TO CLEAN THE PLASTIC OR MET-
AL PARTS
Clean the plastic and coated metal parts
with a damp cloth only. Never use abrasive
detergents or solvents.
The moving parts of the child Car seat must
not be lubricated.
CHECKING THE CONDITION OF THE
COMPONENTS
It is recommended to regularly check the
condition of the following components to
make sure they are not damaged or worn:
• Fabric cover: check that the padding does
not come out from the seams. Check the
condition of the seams: they must always
be intact and undamaged.
• Harness straps: check that the fabric lining
is not frayed or the harness strap worn out
in the parts corresponding to the adjust-
ment strap, crotch, shoulders and harness
adjustment plate.
• Plastic parts: check that the plastic parts are
not worn out, damaged or faded.
WARNING! If the child car seat is damaged,
deformed or worn out, it must be replaced,
as its original safety features may have been
compromised.
STORING THE PRODUCT
When it is not fitted in the car, it is recom-
mended to store the child car seat in a dry
place, away from sources of heat and to pro-
tect it from dust, humidity and direct sunlight.
DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT
When the child Car seat no longer complies
with the original safety standards, stop using
it and dispose of it to an appropriate collec-
tion point. Dispose of it always following en-
vironmental rules and regulations adopted
within the country of use.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed against any con-
formity defect in normal conditions of use
as provided by the instructions for use. The
warranty shall not therefore apply in the
case of damages caused by improper use,
wear or accidental events. For the duration
of warranty on conformity defects please
refer to the specific provisions of national
laws applicable in the country of purchase,
where provided.
