4-8 Options Installation
You may install one IBM Advanced Floating-Point Accelerator in
a system unit.
Warning: This option replaces the IBM RT PC
Floating-Point Accelerator, if installed, and must be located in
slot B of the system board.
See the system unit diagram for the location of system
Installing:
board slot B.
If the IBM Advanced Floating-Point Accelerator is being added as
a separate option, use the diskette enclosed with the option, and
refer to
Installing and Customizing the A IX Operating System,
"Reinstalling the VRM."
