Removing the Covers From the System Units

This device is heavy. Three or more people should lift
the system unit, which weighs up to 42 kg (92 lb). Use a
dolly if possible. Refer to "Safety Notice Translations"
on page iii.
1-4 Options Installation
To remove the covers from the system unit, follow the instructions
under either " IBM 6150 System U n it" or " IBM 6151 System U n it"
on page 1-10, whichever applies.
Note:
Do not operate the system unit with the covers removed.
O perating with the covers on ensures adequate cooling of the
components.
You do not need any tools to remove the covers of the system unit.
Note:
You might find this task easier if you put the unit on a
sturdy table.
CAUTION
Do the following to remove the IBM 6150 covers:
1. Turn the system off.
