Temporarily disabling the netfilter rules

In the default status of the matrix switch, all network computers have access to the
extender's IP address (open system access).
The web application enables you to create netfilter rules to control access to the
device. After a netfilter rule is created, the open access to the system is disabled and all
incoming data packets are compared to the netfilter rules.
If the adjusted netfilter rules prevent access to the Config Panel web application, they
can be can temporarily disabled. Now you can edit the netfilter rules.
How to disable netfilter rules temporarily:
1. Turn on the matrix switch and wait until the device is ready for operation.
2. Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds.
IMPORTANT:
Now open access to the system is enabled.
3. Use the Config Panel web application to edit the netfilter rules that are stored in
the appliance and save these rules.
IMPORTANT:
The former settings are reactivated if you do not create any new
netfilter rules within 15 minutes.
