About the Diagnostic Manual
The diagnostic manual outlines the detailed procedures to troubleshoot complaints related to the Engine
Management System (EMS) in GENIO DC BS III & BS IV vehicle. Since the CRDe components and system is
sensitive and requires certain level of understanding for troubleshooting; only a trained authorized persons
can work on the CRDe system in conjunction with M&M diagnostic tool.
Also the troubleshooting procedure is defined only for the most frequent/ highly probable DTCs. However
there are a set of less probable DTCs, which might require expert guidance for analysis and resolution. The
complete list of DTCs possible and their description are given in a table at the end of the manual (Page
154). If any of those DTCs for which troubleshooting procedure is not defines are observed, please contact
TEKline for guidance.
The manual consists of –
• Use of the flashing tool for flashing the EMS.
• Trouble shooting and diagnosis of highly probable DTCs (Defect Trouble Codes)
• Complete list of probable DTCs
• Circuit diagram.
