Ambarella’s H1 processor. The encoded video content can be streamed to the cloud server with several protocols such as RTSP, RTMP or even HLS. The VEGA-2001 can create multiple output streams from a single video input and encode it individually by using different codecs with different resolutions.

Following these steps below: Connect a video source to SDI or HDMI video inputs. Connect the power adaptor to power jack.(When power on ,the power LED is Blue) Connect the LAN cable to the Internet HUB. Please make sure your PC’s LAN cable is also connected to the HUB as well.(If you want your PC serves as a decoder) Connect your USB flash drive to the USB1 or USB2 for the recording function.
2. Download or get firmware file from your Advantech contact. 3. Put firmware file, “vega2001_XXXX.upd.xz” to your USB flash drive. 4. Insert your USB flash drive to the VEGA-2001 and remove other devices (LAN & video input source, except the power adaptor) .Then, press the power button 5.
[NOTE] ⚫ After turning on the power of VEGA-2001, if you insert the USB with the firmware file within 40 seconds, VEGA-2001 will execute the update firmware. After finishing the firmware update, VEGA-2001 will be powered off. 2.3 LED for Video Source Connection There are two LED which can indicate connection status of video source.

3.3 Stream Settings Page Use this Stream page to set the items for the output Channel1/ Channel2/ Channel3 (Channel 2 &Channel3 are under development). The capabilities of each stream depend on the input resolution and the frame rate, please refer to the Appendix A for details Preset The preset menu provides basic settings.

3.6 Record settings Use this Record page to record for Channel1/ Channel 2/ Channel 3. ⚫ Record Channel The default video setting is Channel 1(H265) / Channel 2(Off) / Channel 3(Off). ⚫ Storage Path You can insert USB flash drive and press the “Reload page” button. It will show the information of the storage.
3.7 Live Page Live page display current screen from video source. It can be selected to get video source from SDI or HDMI. [NOTE] ⚫ Live page has no screen output while resolution of video source is 3840x2160. It’s limitation from Encode IC.

4.1 RTSP/RTP This section shows how to open RTSP streaming from VLC on a suitable player. Please make sure that SDI or HDMI cable is connected to VEGA-2001 correctly before starting. 1. Open Network Stream from VideoLAN VLC media player 2.
