6. Press down on the memory module against the COM Express module until you hear it
snap into place. The module must be properly aligned before you press it down into its
final position. You can remove the module from the socket and reinstall it if you cannot
press it down into its final position.
Removing a Memory Module
1. Wear the ESD-preventive wrist strap.
2. Release the module from the slot by pushing the spring latches on either side of the
module outward.
3. Lift the module from the COM Express Module.
Damage of the Product and Additional Devices and Modules
Incorrect installation or removal of additional devices or modules damages the
product or the additional devices or modules.
Before installing or removing additional devices or modules, read the respective
documentation and use appropriate tools.
