Do not overexpose the face shield to sunlight.

Do not use for welding.

Do not expose to open fire for long periods of time.

Surface may get hot when exposed to electromagnetic radiation.

Replace when exposed to chemicals.

Replace if damaged by mechanical impact.

Only use as a kit.

Only use original replacement parts.

Make sure that your work place is sufficiently illuminated.

Consider the individual colour recognition in the work environment.

Never reuse the face shield if it has been in an arc fault incident.

Polycarbonate is used as a base material for the production of arc-fault-tested face shields. The dura-

bility of this material heavily depends on its use and storage. Plastic materials are basically not

resistant to UV radiation and are sensitive to oil and grease. Therefore, the visor must be visually

examined for signs of damage prior to each use. If mechanical damage (e.g. cracks) is found, the

face shield must not be used.
