Die Angabe der Nennspannung (Nennspannungsbereich) der jeweiligen Elektrode / Prüfsonde muss mit den Nennspannungsangaben der zu prüfenden Anlage übereinstimmen. Batteriewechsel 7.1 Batterietyp Empfohlener Batterietyp: Energizer Lithium AA 1,5 Volt. Es werden zwei Batterien dieses Typs benötigt. Hinweis Diese Batterie gewährleistet eine höchstmögliche Betriebsbereitschaft aufgrund ihrer geringen Selbst-entladung und ihrer hohen Kapazität auch bei tiefen Temperaturen. Bei normalem Gebrauch ist mit dieser Batterie kein Wechsel zwischen den Wiederholungsprüfungen (6 Jahre) notwendig.

Grundsätzlich ist der Spannungsprüfer PHE4 pfleglich zu behandeln. Ist der Spannungsprüfer PHE4 verschmutzt, so ist er vor und nach der Benutzung mit einem fusselfreien, feuchten Tuch (z.B. Fensterleder) zu reinigen. Bei der Reinigung des Gerätes dürfen keine Reinigungs- oder Lö- sungsmittel verwendet werden.
Ist der Spannungsprüfer PHE4 beschädigt oder funktionslos, bzw. nicht im ordnungsgemäßen Zustand, so ist er der Benutzung zu entziehen und ohne jeglichen Eingriff zur Reparatur an DEHN + SÖHNE GmbH + Co.KG zu senden. Beschädigte Geräte müssen von der Wiederverwendung ausgeschlossen werden.

4.2 Plug-in coupling system The insulating sticks of the PHE4 voltage detector are fitted with a plug-in coupling system that allows to extend the handle of the voltage detector. The plastic plug-in coupling is self-guiding and protected against twisting. The yellow pushbutton must be pressed for assembly and disassembly. Check the assembled coupling elements for tight fit before using them.
(see Fig. 5.1). 5.2 Nominal voltage / nominal voltage range The PHE4 voltage detector series includes devices with a single nominal voltage, devices with a nominal voltage range and devices with a switchable nominal voltage range (PHE4 U).
(see 5., page 8). 6.1 Test scope The PHE4 voltage detector performs a functional test when it is switched on. If this functional test was successful, the green LED appears and shows that the detector is operational (see also Fig. 6.1, page 11).

The intervals for maintenance tests of PHE4 voltage detectors depend on their conditions of use, for example frequency of use, environmental conditions, transport, etc., however, they must be tested at least every 6 years according to DGUV regulation 3 (previously BGV A3).
10. Transport and storage Transport and store PHE4 voltage detectors in a dry place and ensure that their performance is not compro- mised. 10.1 Transport PHE4 voltage detectors should be transported in a transport case, storage device or protective cover.
