Install the component:
a. Firmly seat the FlexibleLOM riser into the slot.
b. Secure the FlexibleLOM riser with a screw.

Install the FLOM riser cage.
10. Install the access panel.
11. Install the server into the rack.
12. Connect all necessary external cabling.
13. Connect each power cord to the server.
14. Connect each power cord to the power source.
15. Power up the server.
16. If removed, install the security bezel.
The installation is complete.

Transceiver warnings and cautions
WARNING: Fiber-optic transceivers and fiber-optic cables connected to transceivers emit laser light that
can damage your eyes. To avoid eye injuries, avoid direct eye exposure to the beam from the fiber-optic
transceiver or into the ends of fiber-optic cables when they are powered-up.
